In co-operation with Vejen Kommune (DK), the project Vital Rural Area will hold its second International Policy Forum on Regional Development on October 7th and 8th, 2010, in Hotel Legoland at Billund (DK).
Keynote speakers and workshop facilitators from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and Denmark will present their contributions on regional development on Thursday, October 7th, 2010. The general theme of the forum is: innovation and involvement.
The forum programme - highlighted by special displays - will be presented by Marcel Bullinga, a futurist and trendwatcher from The Netherlands. On Friday, October 8th, 2010, the participants will pay a study visit to the village of Hovborg: development projects by local citizens, and the village of Roedding: an innovation house created by local citizens.
The programme will have an open structure and character, with enough time and opportunity for networking, exchange of opinions and expertise, and to make new contacts.
