International Policy Forum on Regional Development
In co-operation with Norfolk County Council, the project Vital Rural Area held its first International Policy Forum on Regional Development on September 17th and 18th, 2009, in Dunston Hall Hotel and Conference Center, Norwich, UK.
Keynote speakers and workshop facilitators from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany and Denmark presented their contributions on regional development on Thursday, September 17th, 2009.
The forum programme - highlighted by special displays - was presented by Marcel Bullinga, a futurist and trendwatcher from The Netherlands. On Friday, September 18th, 2009, the participants paid a study visit to the seaside town of Cromer in North Norfolk.

The programme had an open structure and character, with enough time and opportunity for networking, exchange of opinions and expertise, and to make new contacts.
